Trio Dive?

I woke up 4:45am getting ready for a first time Dive to Trio.

I got to the pick up point 10 minutes to 6am and start rigging for 6:30 pick up. 4 of us got ready and waiting for a boat and got a phone call 6:20 saying little broblem starting the boat so little late. One and half hour later boat pick us up and heading for the site. Boat suddenly slowing down near Long Reef and I thought “Trio would be further north?”, then found out the skipper decide to anchore on Coolooli instead, may be because he was late and saving time.

Anyway, we had a good dive on the Coolooli, the bucket dredge. I quite like this wreck somehow.

Oh, you might notice that there is no photo. IMy Canon drowned at the last dive at Dee Why 10 days ago. what happened to my ex-Canon? Yes, I lost around same time last year. is it coinsidence?

I was on my rotation day off. Most of people enjoy the sleep in for your day off, but I was up quarter to 5 this morning getting ready for a dive on the SS Birchgrove Park.

Weather was perfect, picked my buddy up and arrived at the boat pick up point Little Manly at 6am. Gear up and suit up for a 6:30 pick up, talking with other divers about the dive, 6:45 still not sign of the boat, keep talking, 7:00 still not, everyone start wondering if the trip was cancelled. 7:10 finally boat arrived.

10 divers total. Everyone knows everyone even new Tec diver like me knew most of them.

4 in my team, dive was great. It was my first dive on this wreck, so I was trying to picture myself which part is which. Did I success? No. I was so excited and went in where ever I could get in and just had fun.

It was over 40 metre dive so I didn’t take my camera but one of my team member took Sony Cyber Shot with 40 metre rated housing with him and saying it’s been no problem. I might take the housing only next deep dive to see if it works. If it’s OK then I can take photos on those wrecks around Sydney!

I just realized that I started this blog to talk about Diving. But now, I got not only diving but Photos and Gardening (foods) as well so might need to change the subtitle hmuuuuuuuuuu………, I need to think.

I have found the Soya Bean Seeds today on the web at Green Harvest and order some along with others like Japanese radish, Bok Choy and Tomato. Now I need to Google how to look after them.

Anyway, when I went walking my friend’s dog “Leo” yesterday afternoon, I saw beautiful sunset so I got few shots. This is the other benefit from new camera that I start see things I have been missing or never noticed or deferent way. Here is one of them!
